It premiered on truTV December 15, 2011, but the first fotage for Impractical Jokers was filmed April 17, 2011. The show is currently on its third season and the guys are soon to release a variety show tentatively called "Jokers Wild", set to premiere summer or fall of 2014. Originally, Impractical Jokers was to be called "Mission: Impossible."
The Tenderloins comedy troupe was formed in 1999. They began performing long-form improvision in 2000, followed by a sketch comedy soon after. They still tour around America today. In 2007, they redirected their skills to the internet. A few years later, the members of the troupe became the Impractical Jokers.
While there was a podcast featuring all four of the
guys, The Tenderloins podcast (which can be found on The Tenderloins page above, the official Tenderloins website, or on iTunes for free), Q and Sal have started their own podcast entitled "What Say You?", which is also available for free on iTunes. The first episode was released September 30th, 2013, and it is still running.
